Scheduled Blackboard Maintenance (Cable TV System)

Blackboard will be down for 24 hours from 6:00 PM Friday, July 20 until 6:00 PM Saturday, July 21 in order to upgrade to a new service pack which includes new features. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause your summer classes. If you had planned to use Blackboard for web-conferencing on Saturday, July 21, please call us at 202-885-3904, and we will arrange for your meeting to take place on our test server. Update: Blackboard maintenance completed at 1:30 PM.

Various Campus Network Services (Cable TV System)

Various AU technical services are currently experiencing issues or are unavailable. We experienced a network fiber break which has since been repaired. The Office of Information Technology is working to resolve all issues as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this outage. Thank you.

MSTR Business Intelligence (BI) Scheduled Maintenance (Cable TV System)

The Office of Information Technology will be upgrading the Microstrategy web reporting system from 9.2.1 to 9.3 on Thursday, May 2. All BI applications will be unavailable during this upgrade. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you.

Datatel and myAU.american.edu Portal Service Interruption (Colleague/Benefactor)

The weekly maintenance period for the Datatel Colleague systems will be extended on Sunday, April 28, from 2:00 a.m. until noon in order to perform critical system maintenance. All Datatel and some myAU.american.edu applications will be unavailable during this time.

Internet2 Circuit Outage (Eaglenet)

Due to an outage on Verizon Network, Internet2 connection is currently unavailable. Connections between AU and WRLC (Washington Research Library Consortium) have been affected. Update: The problem was resolved on April 27th at 09:30 am.
